Bachelor: Host Chris Harrison Immortalized With Rose-Holding Bobblehead
As host of The Bachelor and all of its spinoffs, Chris Harrison serves as a source of comfort to both the lead and contestants. He helps them sift through their confusing emotions before dreaded rose ceremonies, and even invites some inside his suite for a needed drink, like Ed Waisbrot. Now, Bachelor Nation can bring Chris' fatherly instincts into their own home, thanks to an officially-licensed bobblehead.
Chris, 49, has been the face of The Bachelor since the series launched in 2002. Over the years, he has become one of the most beloved reality TV personalities in pop culture. His appearance at rose ceremonies to say, "Ladies, this is the final rose of the evening," never gets old. Neither does his insistence that every season is the "most dramatic" and "most shocking," because he's usually correct. Despite Chris' rumored move to Austin, Texas, which fans feared would force another host to take over, he's not leaving the show just yet.
However, Chris will be heading to homes worldwide...just not exactly in his human form. As reported by EW, Chris has been immortalized with two bobbleheads, and the resemblance is uncanny. Both figures depict Chris in his signature blue suit and tie. In one, he's standing up and holding an artificial rose, which can be removed and replaced with a real flower. The second bobblehead appears to be an "After The Final Rose" version of Chris. It features him sitting on a cozy chair next to a table decorated with roses and candles, which actually lights up. A rose platform is the base of both dolls. The beloved host helped create the limited-edition bobbleheads in conjunction with the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. They're available for $30 each or $50 for the pair, and are expected to ship in February around Valentine's Day. Perfect timing, right? As far as TV show hosts go, Chris is quite the jack-of-all-trades. In addition to his adorable bobblehead launch, he created his own collection of wedding rings through a partnership with Mandy Bands, wrote the romance novel The Perfect Letter, and released a canned ros̩ with Seagram's. This was all done while raising his children, Joshua and Taylor. Also, Chris is more involved behind-the-scenes on The Bachelor than many people realize. He had a huge hand in the selection of Tayshia Adams as the replacement on The Bachelorette Рa move that ultimately saved the entire season after Clare Crawley's abrupt departure. Chris said he "fought for" Tayshia, and thank goodness he did. Not only did Tayshia find a fianc̩ in Zac Clark, to who she is still engaged, but viewers were gifted with a happy ending.
The living, breathing version of Chris has had a positive impact on countless Bachelor contestants' love lives. Hopefully, bobblehead Chris can do the same for Bachelor Nation.
