Amid shocking reports of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's possible divorce, word has gotten out about the lavish Christmas gifts the superstar couple exchanged ahead of the breaking news. On Tuesday, multiple source reports seemingly confirmed the end of Kanye's marriage with the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star. But despite earlier speculation about Kanye's absence during the holidays, it's now said he gifted his wife a pricey luxury car.
Fans were surprised when reports surfaced about the rumored divorce that's privately taking place between Kim and Kanye. Since last year, the couple dodged divorce rumors after tension between them mounted following Kanye's presidential campaign announcement. It was during his sole rally in August that he became emotional while divulging private information about his wife. In July, he went on a Twitter tirade against his wife and mother-in-law, Kris Jenner, accusing them of releasing statements about him and keeping him in "the sunken place." In recent months, it was revealed the couple had been living separate lives away from each other, with Kanye living in Wyoming and Kim and their four children remaining in Los Angeles.
During the Christmas holiday, the KKW Beauty founder shared family photos with a noticeably absent Kanye. While many fans questioned his whereabouts, it turns out the couple actually did spend the holiday together. According to TMZ, the reality star and Yeezy founder spent Christmas together at home with their children. The two stars exchanged some pretty pricey gifts to celebrate the occasion. Kanye gifted his beauty mogul wife with five new 2021 Maybachs, worth $200k a car. Meanwhile, Kim spent about $1 million getting her rap/fashion mogul husband several James Turrell pieces. Kanye is reportedly a big fan of the artist and has modeled much of his Sunday Service work around Turrell's aesthetic. The couple has reportedly agreed to undergo marriage counseling to see if they are really ready to move forward with a divorce or not.
On Tuesday, sources claimed Kim and Kanye grew tired of each other. While insiders claim Kanye's campaign was the last straw for Kim, it's said Kanye felt the lifestyle of Kim and her famous family was "unbearable." Close insiders claimed "divorce was imminent" between the two after seven years of marriage. Once the reports surfaced on social media, neither Kim nor Kanye released any statements denying or confirming the rumors. The move left many fans convinced the two were calling it quits. On the same day the news was announced, Kim signed her $200 million deal with Coty.
Kanye has remained in seclusion since losing his election run, but at least he and Kim were able to come together for the Christmas holiday.
