Canada, France, India, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, and Spain are all online.

Apple has added seven new countries to those that allow developers to sign up to the Apple Developer Program via the Apple Developer app. As of now, developers in Canada, France, India, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, and Spain can all join the program without having to visit the Apple website. It's now easier than ever to get apps into the App Store.

Apple says that the whole enrollment process can be done in-app, with auto-renewable subscriptions ensuring that developers won't have to remember to sign up again in a year's time.

It's now simpler than ever for developers around the world to enroll in the Apple Developer Program. As of today, the Apple Developer app also supports enrollment in Canada, France, India, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, and Spain.

Developers need to be registered in order to be able to push apps into the App Store. The program costs $99 per year.

Anyone signing up to the developer program now could do worse than pick up the best Mac for Xcode, too. Anything running one of Apple's beefy new M1 processors should do the trick!
