Apple Music's 'Lossless' logo just leaked ahead of the feature's launch - TechnW3

What you need to know

  • Apple is rumored to be launching a lossless Apple Music tear.
  • A Lossless logo just leaked on Twitter.

The logo was supposedly found on the Apple Music website.

With Apple already very strongly rumored to be launching a new lossless flavor of Apple Music within hours, the feature's logo now appears to have popped up on Twitter for the first time. Simply dubbed Lossless, the feature will presumably offer a higher bitrate of streaming music than had previously been available.

Discovered by designer Stijn de Vries and spied by MacRumors, the logo was supposedly found on the Apple Music website. It's likely that it will be used to differentiate songs that are available as lossless streams from those that aren't.

Apple Music is already teasing something that "music is about to change forever" and it's thought that a new lossless streaming feature could be announced as soon as tomorrow, May 18.

Existing rumors have Apple potentially rolling lossless audio out at the existing $9.99 price point, ensuring those of us with existing subscriptions won't need to pay extra. It's likely the standard audio tier will then be offered at a lower asking price, although it isn't clear how all of this will work in an Apple One world.

If all of this does go the way we expect, you're going to want to check out the best AirPods Max deals to make sure you're all set for whatever Apple has planned.
