Apple's new M1 iPad Pro orders start shipping - TechnW3

It is rumored the new iPad Pro will be released on May 21.

What you need to know

  • Apple's brand new M1 iPad Pro still doesn't have an official release date.
  • However, a new report says multiple customers are reporting their devices are now displaying as "shipped".
  • It comes following rumors the device will be officially released (and start arriving) on May 21.

Apple's new M1 iPad Pro doesn't have an official release date, but apparently, some customers' devices have already started shipping out.

According to MacRumors:

Ahead of their expected launch on May 21, some brand new M1 iPad Pro orders have begun switching to a "Shipped" status. Multiple readers of MacRumors have shared with us their updated order for their brand new iPads which now shows a "Shipped" status, rather than "Preparing to ship." Interestingly, despite the new iPad Pros now shipping for a few customers, reviews and hands-on of the newest M1-powered device have yet to be published.

Earlier this week many orders started showing up as 'Preparing to Ship', and last month two reports, one from reliable leaker Jon Prosser and another from a UK retail source pegged the official release date of the iPad Pro as May 21, we still don't have any official confirmation of this, however.

With orders now displaying as shipped it seems that the release date is indeed imminent.

Apple's new M1 iPad Pro is shaping up to be the best iPad for Pro users currently available, with the power of Apple silicon and the M1 chip, as well as a massively upgraded mini-LED display, this is the most powerful tablet that Apple has ever released.
