The T-Mobile Network Test Drive app is an iOS only based app that gives potential customers using a compatible unlocked iPhone the option to test our amazing network out before joining. T-Mobile Network Test Drive offers you up to 30 days or 30GB of high-speed data along with unlimited talk and text for free, all while keeping your current carrier and phone number. This gives you the ability to try our network on your iPhone, risk free.
The company also posted a video to YouTube announcing the new program.
iPhone users can now try out T-Mobile's Network for free for 30 days or 30 GB of data – whichever comes first. We've just launched a new T-Mobile Network Test Drive App where you can use T-Mobile's Nationwide network and your current network, at the same time.
T-Mobile has boasted a test drive program for years now but it has required the company to lend out a loaner phone for would-be customers to test. With the benefits of eSIM, the company can offer the same program and customers can test things out on the phone they already own. It's a great idea and one that could get more people to test out the company's service since the barrier to entry just got so much smoother.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 13 lineup this fall, which will continue to support eSIM technology. If you're not into post-paid plans, check out our list of the Best Prepaid iPhone Plans in the U.S. in 2021
