Apple's Certified Refurbished program is a diamond in the rough.
It's hard to think that the 8th generation iPad has already been out long enough to be available from Apple as a refurbished model.
Spotted by MacRumors, Apple has added the current 8th generation iPad to its Certified Refurbished store. Customers who choose a Certified Refurbished iPad can do so for a price as low as $279 for the 32GB WiFi model.
Every configuration is available in a Certified Refurbished version, including all of the colors, storage options, and connectivity options.
As of the writing of this article, most configurations are already sold out. The current configuration options available are the WiFi-only models with 128GB of storage. All three colors are currently available for $359, a savings of $70.
Apple's Certified Refurbished program is still one of the best-kept secrets in the used device industry. Customers who take advantage of the program get a "like new" device with AppleCare with savings of up to 15% on the purchase.
You will receive a "like new" device with genuine Apple replacement parts (as needed) that has been thoroughly cleaned and inspected. Refurbished iOS devices will come with new battery and outer shell. Every device will come with all accessories, cables and operating systems.1 All Apple Certified Refurbished products are packaged in a brand new white box and will be sent to you with free shipping and returns.
You can check out all of the new listings for the 8th generation iPad on the Apple Certified Refurbished website.
