In the Apple world, the summer months are a little bit of a lull between the software hype of WWDC and the upcoming fall events that will debut new products. If you're in the market to buy one of Apple's best iPad models, though, now makes for a really exciting time as we're seeing discounts across the lineup.
Some models, like the latest M1 iPad Pro are discounted by as much as $100 at Amazon and there are even some savings across on Apple's lower-cost models like the iPad Air and 10.2-inch iPad. The latest iPad Air takes on a lot of the features that makes the iPad Pro great and packs them into a more affordable form factor, especially with this $99 discount. All colors are discounted.

iPad (2020)
If you want the most affordable iPad possible, Apple's newest 10.2-inch iPad is a great pickup. Prices are as low as $299 right now which gets you a lot of tablet for the money.
iPad mini
Those needing the ultra-compact iPad mini can also save with $30 off the base-spec iPad mini. Other configurations have as much as $158 off, so be sure to click through the different options there.
It's unusual to see such steep discounts across the board like this. While Apple won't offer direct savings like this, third-party retailers are certainly trying to move some stock ahead of the fall season.
That being said, these are Apple's newest iPad models and, though the iPad mini is a little long in the tooth, it's unlikely that we're going to see significant upgrades any time soon, especially on the Pro line which just got refreshed this spring. An iPad mini 6 is rumored for this fall, it's less clear if the Air or 10.2-inch iPad will get an updated in the next few months.
The deals at Amazon and elsewhere could expire at any moment. Some products are also on backorder, though there's no reason why you can't lock in the low price today.
