Podcasts are fast becoming a new battleground for companies like Spotify and Apple, with the latter offering its own podcast subscription offering via the Podcasts app on iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches.
Spotify has also announced a new multi-year agreement with Bad Robot Audio that could bring a ton of content to the service.
Bad Robot is behind shows like "Lost," "Alias," "Fringe," "Person of Interest," "Castle Rock," "Westworld," and others, as well as films like "Super 8," "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Star Wars: Rise of Skywalker," and the "Star Trek," "Mission: Impossible" and "Cloverfield" franchises.
At the time of writing neither Bad Robot Audio nor Spotify is saying which shows will come to Spotify.
