This is the cheapest Apple Watch deal you'll find on Cyber Monday - TechnW3
It's undeniably a great time of year to buy an Apple Watch. While those who want the latest features will be looking for Cyber Monday Apple Watch deals on the Series 6 or Series 7 device, some folks are out there just wanting the cheapest possible Apple Watch.
There have been plenty of deals to choose from so far this year, from discounts on the latest Apple Watch Series 7 to previous-gen models dropping lower than ever before. But which should you go for if you want the absolute lowest Apple Watch price on Black Friday?
The cheapest Apple Watch Black Friday deal
Apple Watch Series 3 (38mm) | $90 off
While it's no longer the latest model, you'll struggle to find a lower-priced Black Friday Apple Watch deal than this. Apple Watch Series 3 has never gone this low before, but the deal won't last long.
The absolute lowest Apple Watch price we've seen this Black Friday is on the Apple Watch Series 3. It fell to just $109 there, $90 off its regular price, and a new all-time low. That being said, it was only available to Walmart+ members at first and sold out pretty quickly once it went on general sale. You can still find this deal in Walmart stores if you are lucky.
Apple's 2017 model still hasn't been discontinued and occupies the $199 price point in the product lineup as an inexpensive entry-level device. Paying close to $200 for it in 2021 is not a good idea, though. The Series 3 is a little long in the tooth at this point, and your money would be best spent on something with a little more longevity to it.
Other cheap Apple Watch deals worth considering
Refurbished Apple Watch models | From $115
For Black Friday only, Woot is clearing out a bunch of refurbished Apple Watch models. If you want the very cheapest, you're looking at the Series 3 for $115 though you can get something newer from just $170. There's a lot of choice in this sale, and a 90-day warranty backs each.
Apple Watch SE (40mm, GPS) | $60 off
If you've been holding out for a Black Friday Apple Watch SE deal, then look no further than this $60 price cut. It's never gone lower than this, and we don't expect it to fall further this weekend.
Going for a refurbished Apple Watch is a great way to save some cash this Black Friday. Since the products aren't in new condition, you don't have to worry quite so much if you're gifting them to someone new to Apple Watch or a child as a first smartwatch. If you're unsure an Apple Watch is going to work for you or someone else, it's a good idea to get one as cheaply as possible, too.
If brand new is more your bag, the Apple Watch SE is your friend this year — especially since you're not likely to find that Series 3 deal right now. It is designed to be a lower-cost model that still includes a bunch of the same features as the more expensive Apple Watch models. Its display is 30% larger than the Series 3, though it's not always-on like the just-released Series 7. It's powered by the dual-core S5 chipset from 2019's Series 5, meaning it will still be future-proofed for many years of software updates.
