Even Apple's Eddy Cue can't get his hands on an Xbox this Christmas - TechnW3
What you need to know
- Apple VP Eddy Cue has followed a Twitter account designed to help people find new Xbox stock.
- Microsoft's Xbox Series X is proving difficult to get hold of this Christmas.
- Xbox Series S is a little easier to find.
Even Apple VPs want to be able to play Halo Infinite.
As anyone who has tried to pick up an Xbox Series X knows, getting your hands on one this Christmas isn't the easiest thing in the world. You don't have to tell that to Apple's Eddy Cue, though — he's already well aware and he's using Twitter to bag one of his own.
We know that because the Big Tech Alert Twitter account told us that Cue is now following the @XboxStockAlerts account — an account that does nothing but tells everyone when a retailer has Microsoft's hottest console available to buy.

Whether Cue wants to get his hands on a new Xbox to send as a Christmas gift isn't clear of course, but I like to imagine that he's desperate to get his Halo Infinite on this holiday season. He really should be, too — Windows Central's Halo Infinite review shows just how great this title is.
If Cue really is struggling, the cheaper Xbox Series S is a great option — not that the money will likely be a consideration for a big Apple executive, of course. Cue could also make use of Apple Arcade and just play on his iPhone 13, but Halo Infinite isn't in the App Store. Maybe he could just play on a PC instead!
